Appointments

Our Aim

It is our aim to provide you with the best possible service - we can only do this with your help:

When requesting an appointment, our reception team will ask details about the reason for the appointment. This is to offer you the quickest, most suitable appointment with the most appropriate clinician.
This may include accessing pharmacy services, community-based teams, or appointments in another GP surgery.

Please cancel appointments that you are unable to attend. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we cannot guarantee that you will be seen that day.

If you have more than one problem to discuss in your appointment, please let reception know when you book your appointment.

Our appointments are pre-bookable for all our clinicians for up to 4 weeks in advance.

We offer appointments face to face or telephone and our reception staff can advise on the most appropriate. Appointments can be made online via the NHSapp or Patient Access which is accessible 24/7, face to face, at our reception or over the telephone anytime during our opening hours. All our administrative staff are trained to signpost to the most appropriate clinician and will ask you for a brief reason for the appointment. This ensures that patients are seen in the quickest timeframe and with the most appropriate clinician, this could be a pharmacist, Nurse Practitioner, Physiotherapist, Podiatrist etc. Please cancel any appointments that you no longer need or are unable to attend, this allows us to make more appointments available for you and other patient and keep our waiting time down.

You can submit an eConsult using the online services tab, this allows you to ask about symptoms and get advice. You can also request fit notes and ask for administrative help. This service is available 24/7 and you can expect a response within 24-48 hours.

The practice operates a Zero Tolerance Policy for violent, threatening or abusive behaviour.

Outside Surgery Hours

If you have an urgent medical problem that cannot wait for the next working day, please call 111 who will advise and direct you to the most appropriate care needed.
